A brief history of the Chicago, St. Paul, Minneapolis & Omaha Railway Elroy-St. Paul mainline:

06/26/21

This bridge is a simple deck girder bridge, converted to trail usage.
The structure isn't very significant, but is still noteworthy of a typical structure along the Omaha Trail.
Consisting of a single deck girder bridge, the span crosses a small creek. It is set onto stone substructures, and remains in good condition.

The author has ranked this bridge as being minimally significant, due to the small size and common design.
The photo above is looking south along the bridge.
